Vacationing

We've spent the last five days in Gatlinburg, Tennessee at the Gatlinburg Falls Resort (which I highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay). Jenny and I, along with my parents, her parents, and our four children, rented a cabin in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. There were ten of us and we had a blast. We went horseback riding, miniature golfing, go-carting, shark watching (Gatlinburg Aquarium). We also played board games, air hockey, Golden Tee, Ms. Pac Man, shot a little pool, watched some movies, went hot tubbing and shopping, and of course... we ate! Not necessarily in that order. It has been very relaxing to get away and enjoy family.

It was a highlight to take our parents with us and spend some quality time with them. Our kids are always a joy and as usual... full of energy! Keeping up with them is a task. You need a vacation from vacation when you get home. Fortunately, we have two more days before being back in the office. Enjoy it while it lasts. Blessings!
