Our New President

Last night, America cast their vote for the next President of the United States. As you all know, Barak Obama was elected. With almost 50 million votes cast for McCain, the country went half and half. Fifty percent of the country went to bed last night disappointed in the outcome.

An election allows each of us to cast our vote. At the end of the day, the person with the most votes wins. In this case, receives the electoral votes which decides the election. No matter how you feel about the candidates, there is only one today and he is our next president. We must determine today to be Americans, not Democrats or Republicans. Our country needs Americans to step up to the plate and help get our country back on track again.

Let us pray for our new president, along with the Senate and the House. We must understand the winner and loser did not surprise God. He already has a plan. May God's perfect plan unfold to reveal what He has in store for us and our future.
