Coffee and Karaoke

We are having a Fifth Quarter tonight following the High School football game. We've got the coffee brewing and the muffins chillin'. We are going to be singing a little karaoke tonight. I have come to realize... it does not matter how good of a singer you are... no one sings karaoke well. Just so you know... Karaoke is a Japanese abbreviated compound word: "kara" comes from "karaappo" meaning empty, and "oke" is the abbreviation of "okesutura", or orchestra (Empty orchestra). Hence the reason for using soundtracks. Anyway... it's fun. Enjoy this wonderful cold evening. It's going to be a good night.
